- 2 oz. fat (pork will need less)
- 1 large onion
- 1 pt. water
- salt and pepper to taste
- pinch of paprika
- 1 to 2 tsp. oetker (cornstarch)
- 1 Tbsp. cold water
Directions

1Cut meat into 3/4-inch cubes.

2Brown in hot fat.

3Add the finely chopped onion and saute together a little longer.

4Pour in the boiling water.

5Season with salt and pepper.

6Cover and braise gently until done.

7Season to taste with paprika and salt.

8Thicken with cornstarch, blended with water.
