Ingredients
- 1 medium onion
- 4 Tbsp. margarine
- 3 to 4 Tbsp. Hungarian paprika
- 4 Tbsp. margarine
- 3/4 to 1 lb. cubed beef
- 2 cans beef broth
- 1 can water
- 1 small can tomato sauce
- 1 can water
- 2 medium potatoes, diced fine
Directions

1Saute onion diced fine in 4 tablespoons margarine until tender.

2Add paprika. Cook until bubbly.

3Put in bowl and set aside. In same pan, melt 4 tablespoons margarine and cubed beef, which has been floured.

4Cook until browned.

5Add onion, paprika mixture, beef broth and 1 can water.

6Heat to boiling, stirring. Add tomato sauce and 1 can water.

7Once again, heat to boiling, add potatoes which have been diced.

8Reduce heat to simmer.

9Simmer at least 2 to 4 hours.

10Makes 6 to 8 servings.
