  • 6 or 7 medium potatoes
  • 1/2 stick butter
  • 2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 1 1/2 c. sour cream
  • dash of salt
  • little bit grated onion or chives

Directions

    Boil potatoes with their skins on.

    Peel potatoes and grate. Melt butter and cheese over low heat; add sour cream, salt and either grated onion or grated chives.

    Fold into potatoes.

    Cook in 2-quart buttered casserole dish at 350° until heated.
