- graham crackers
- 1 c. butter
- 1/2 c. milk
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 large egg, slightly beaten
- 1 c. coconut
- 1 c. chopped nuts
- 1 c. graham cracker crumbs
- 2 c. powdered sugar
- 1/2 c. butter
- 1 tsp. vanilla or lemon extract
Directions

1Line bottom of 9 x 13 pan with whole graham crackers.

2Melt 1 cup butter; add milk, sugar and egg.

3Cook in double boiler until slightly thickened.

4Add coconut, nuts and graham cracker crumbs. Cool slightly.

5Pour over whole graham crackers in pan, then cover with another layer of whole graham crackers.

6Mix together powdered sugar, 1/2 cup butter and vanilla or lemon extract.

7Thin with milk to spreading consistency.

8Spread over graham crackers, chill and cut in squares.
