- 8 c. oatmeal (not quick)
- 1 1/2 c. wheat germ
- 1 c. sunflower seeds
- 1 1/2 c. raw nuts (e.g., almonds, cashews, filberts; can also use soy nuts and salted peanuts)
- 1/2 c. sesame seed
- 1 c. all-bran cereal
- 1 c. coconut
- 1 c. honey
- 1 c. oil
- 2 tsp. vanilla
Directions

1Mix together the first 7 ingredients.

2In saucepan, mix together the honey, oil and vanilla; stir over medium heat until bubbly.

3Pour over dry ingredients; stir until well mixed.

4Bake on 2 or 3 large cookie sheets, uncovered, until golden brown, approximately 20 to 25 minutes.

5Stir 2 or 3 times while baking, especially in the corners.

6Also stir while cooling so granola will not stick together.

7Can add raisins to mix after cooling.
