Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 c. oatmeal (old-fashioned), uncooked
  • 1/4 c. wheat germ
  • 1/3 c. chunky peanut butter
  • 1/2 c. coconut (optional)
  • 1/4 c. honey
  • 1/2 tsp. vanilla
  • 2 Tbsp. vegetable oil
  • 3/4 c. raisins

Directions

    Stir together oatmeal, wheat germ and coconut.

    Heat oil and honey, stirring occasionally.

    Remove from heat; add vanilla and peanut butter.

    Blend well.

    Pour over dry ingredients and mix well.

    Spread on cookie sheet with sides.

    Bake at 225° for one hour.

    Cool.

    Break apart and stir in raisins with hands.

    Store tightly covered.
