Ingredients

  • 1/2 c. oleo or butter
  • 1/4 c. honey
  • 1 c. all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1 c. quick cooking oats
  • 1/2 c. chopped nuts
  • 1/2 c. brown sugar, packed
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 tsp. baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 c. flaked coconut

Directions

    Preheat oven to 350°.

    Grease bottom of 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking pan.

    Melt butter in saucepan over low heat.

    Remove from heat. Stir in remaining ingredients (sugar, honey, egg, flour, soda, cinnamon, salt, oats, coconut and nuts).

    This mixture will be thick.

    Press in prepared pan.

    Bake 20 minutes.

    Cool in pan. Cut into 32 bars.
