- 3/4 c. butter
- 3 c. coarse bulgur (cracked wheat)
- 2 onions, finely chopped
- 6 c. chicken or beef broth (or mixed)
- 2 tsp. salt
- 2 tsp. pepper
- 1 tsp. curry powder
- 1 c. pine nuts
Directions

1Melt 1/2 cup butter in skillet.

2Add dry bulgur; saute well. In a separate pan, saute onion in 1/4 cup butter until yellow gold.

3Mix with bulgur.

4Add broth, seasonings and nuts.

5Stir well.

6Bake in an uncovered casserole at 375° for 30 minutes. Adjust seasonings and stir.

7Bake 10 minutes longer.

8(This freezes well or keeps in refrigerator 2 days.)
