- 1 Tbsp. butter or margarine
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1/4 tsp. ground cinnamon
- 1 1/2 lb. fresh green beans
- 3/4 c. chicken broth
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 2 Tbsp. tomato paste
Directions

1Melt butter in a large saucepan; add onion and cinnamon. Cook, stirring often, 4 minutes or until onion is tender.

2Add green beans, chicken broth, salt and pepper.

3Bring mixture to a boil.

4Cover, reduce heat, and simmer, stirring occasionally, 15 to 20 minutes or until tender.

5Remove from heat and stir in tomato paste.

6Makes 6 servings.
