- 2 lb. ground lamb
- 2 cloves garlic, crushed
- 1/4 cup lemon juice
- 1 tsp. dried mint
- 1/8 tsp. oregano
- 1 tsp. thyme
- 1 tsp. ground cumin
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
- 1/4 cup parsley, snipped
- Tzatziki sauce
Directions

1Combine lamb, garlic, lemon juice, basil, marjoram, thyme, rosemary, salt, pepper and parsley in a large bowl.

2Blend well.

3Make thin patties and fry like a hamburger in heated skillet.

4Drain off grease.

5Some people split the pita bread to make a pocket, some just fold it in half like a taco and others lay in flat on a plate.

6Pile on the meat, fresh sliced tomatoes and thinly sliced raw onion.

7Top the whole thing with Tzatziki sauce and eat it with a knife and fork.

8You can also pile the whole lot into a meatloaf tin and bake as you would for meatloaf.
