  • 2 cans green beans
  • 2 Tbsp. bacon grease (crumble and reserve 2 or 3 strips bacon, fried crisp)
  • 1/2 c. purple onion, chopped
  • small green pepper, chopped
  • 1/3 c. sugar
  • 1/3 c. vinegar

Directions

    Saute onion and green pepper. Add sugar and vinegar. Cook green beans to a boil and then drain. Place in casserole and pour onion mixture over top and bake at 350° for 30 minutes. Garnish with crumbled bacon.
