Green Chili Corn

  • 2 cans whole corn, drained
  • 1 large can green chilies (whole)
  • approximately 1/2 lb. sharp cheese
  • 1 c. milk
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 Tbsp. flour
  • 1 tsp. salt

Directions

    Make a white sauce of milk and flour, beating in eggs to thicken.

    When thickened, stir in corn.

    Butter a 4-quart casserole.

    Put about 1/3 of the corn mixture in bottom.
  5. 5
    Top with a layer of green chilies, then a layer of cheese.

    Repeat until corn is gone. Top off with cheese. Bake about 30 minutes at 350°.
