Green Chili Pie

  • 1 (7 1/2 oz.) can Ortega whole green, peeled chilies
  • 12 to 16 oz. Monterey Jack cheese, grated
  • 4 large eggs, beaten
  • salt, pepper, hot sauce and Worcestershire sauce

Directions

    Open chilies up and clean out seeds and seams.

    Lay out chilies flat in bottom of a 9-inch Pyrex pie plate (like a pie crust).

    Put cheese over chilies up to the rim.

    Mix beaten eggs and other ingredients.
  5. 5
    Slowly spoon eggs over cheese.

    Bake in a preheated 275° oven for 45 minutes.
