Green Crab Soup

Ingredients
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 1/4 cup onion, chopped
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 cup asparagus, chopped
- 3 cups Baby Spinach
- 1 teaspoon thyme
- 1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 1 cup water
- 1 cup cooked crab meat
- salt and pepper, to taste
Directions

1Heat the olive oil in a saucepan over medium heat. Add the onions and garlic and cook until soft.

2Add the asparagus, spinach, thyme and red pepper flakes and cook for 1 minute.

3Add the chicken broth and water. Stir well.

4Bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer for 10 minutes.

5Transfer to a blender and blend until smooth and transfer back to pot.

6Stir in the crabmeat and simmer until heated through.
