  • 16 oz. ground beef
  • 1 small to medium onion, chopped
  • 1 can cream of celery soup
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 c. milk
  • 1 can green chilies
  • 1 pkg. corn tortillas
  • 1 c. cheese, grated

Directions

    Fry ground beef and onions in large frying pan.

    Add the 3 cans of soup and milk to meat mixture.
  3. 3
    Mix well.

    Stir in green chilies and simmer while preparing tortillas.

    Dip tortillas in hot oil (or water) for a few seconds to soften.

    After all tortillas are ready, spread bottom of baking dish with just enough meat mixture to cover bottom of dish.

    Layer tortillas on top of this, overlapping tortillas.

    Spoon more meat mixture over tortillas and sprinkle with cheese.

    Put another layer of tortillas, meat and cheese.

    Layer until all meat mixture is used, ending with meat and cheese.

    Bake in oven at 350° until hot and bubbling.

    (Chicken can be used instead of beef.)
