  • 1 can (12 oz.) whole tomatillos, drained
  • 3/4 cup fresh cilantro
  • 2 tablespoons chopped onion
  • 4 to 6 tablespoons lime juice
  • 1 to 2 tablespoons chopped fresh jalapeno chilies
  • Salt

Directions

    In a food processor or blender, puree tomatillos, cilantro, onion, 4 tablespoons lime juice, and 1 tablespoon chilies until smooth.

    Taste, then add more lime juice and chilies if desired. Add salt to taste. Serve, or cover and chill up to 3 days.
