  • 2 c. green tomatoes
  • 3 c. thin sliced apples
  • 2/3 c. brown sugar, firmly packed
  • 1/3 c. white sugar
  • 3 Tbsp. flour
  • 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1/8 tsp. salt
  • 3 tsp. butter

Directions

    Put tomatoes in boiling water 2 to 3 minutes; peel off skins. Thinly slice tomatoes enough for 2 cups.

    Mix all together, place in pie shell and dot with butter.

    Place top crust, make steam holes in top crust and flute the edges.

    Bake at 425° for 50 to 60 minutes.
