Grilled Banana Split

- 2 tbsp. dark brown sugar
- 1/4 tsp. ground cinnamon
- 4 firm bananas (unpeeled)
- 1 pt. vanilla ice cream
- 1/4 c. pecans
Directions

1Heat grill to medium-high.

2In a small bowl, combine the brown sugar and cinnamon.

3Cut the bananas lengthwise and crosswise, leaving the peel on.

4Lightly oil the grill.

5Place the bananas cut-side down on the grill and cook until slightly charred, about 2 minutes.

6Using tongs, turn the bananas, sprinkle with the cinnamon-sugar mixture and cook until the peels begin to separate from the bananas, 2 to 3 minutes more.

7Discard the peels from the bananas.

8Divide the bananas among bowls, top with the ice cream and sprinkle with the pecans.
