Grilled Nectarine Salsa

  • 3 whole Ripe Nectarines, Cut In Half And Pitted
  • 2 Tablespoons Melted Butter
  • 1/2 cups Fresh Basil, Roughly Chopped
  • 1 whole Lime, Zest And Half The Juice
  • 1 pinch Kosher Salt
  • 1 Tablespoon Agave Syrup
  • 3 Tablespoons White Rum

    Start the grill and brush nectarines with melted butter.

    Place nectarine halves on the grill, skin side up.

    Grill for about 2-3 minutes.

    Flip nectarines and cook for another 2 minutes (not too long, the skin tends to burn).

    Remove and let cool.

    Dice cooled nectarines.

    Add basil, lime juice, lime zest, salt, agave syrup and rum.

    Toss everything together.

    Taste.

    Adjust seasoning; you might need a touch more salt.
