Grilled Swordfish

Ingredients
- 2 tbsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 1/4 cup olive oil, extra virgin
- 1 lemon
- 2 8 oz swordfish filet
Directions

1As always, wash the fish before preparing.

2Starting on one side of the fish, gently sprinkle the garlic powder, black pepper, and salt.

3Massage the dry rub in with your hands and repeat for the second side.

4Take the lemon, cut it in half, and squeeze lemon juice from one half over the tops of both filets.

5Put aside, flip the filets and repeat with the second half.

6Pour the olive oil over and around the fish.

7Lift the filets to make sure olive oil is applied to both sides.

8Place the lemon halves with the cut side down on top of each filet.

9Let marinate for 8-12 hours.

10(I marinated this the morning of, around 8am, and made it for dinner around 7pm)

11To cook, prepare the grill for 400.

12Once ready, place fish filets on grill and flip every 3-4 minutes to prevent burning.

13Cook for 15-20 minutes this way, until the fish flakes delicately to the touch.
