- 1 loaf cocktail-size rye bread (Pepperidge Farm)
- 1 lb. ground chuck
- 1 (4 oz.) pkg. crumbled Bleu cheese
- 2 to 3 dashes oregano
- 2 to 3 dashes thyme
- 2 dashes each: salt and pepper
Directions

1Mix all ingredients by hand, breaking up any large chunks of cheese.

2Spread evenly, not thick, to edges of rye bread.

3Put under broiler for 2 to 3 minutes or until bubbly.

4The crusts burn easily, so watch carefully.
