Ground Beef Casserole

  • 1 lb. ground round beef
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 1 Tbsp. steak sauce
  • 1/4 c. green pepper, chopped
  • 6 oz. pkg. shell macaroni
  • 1 c. grated Cheddar cheese
  • 1 Tbsp. vegetable oil
  • 2 c. canned tomatoes
  • 1 Tbsp. catsup
  • 2 Tbsp. parsley flakes
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • salt and pepper to taste

    Brown ground beef in vegetable oil until red disappears.

    Add onion, tomatoes, steak sauce, peppers, catsup and parsley. Stir and simmer 30 minutes. Cook macaroni separately and drain.

    Add to mixture.

    Mix well.

    Put in a large greased baking dish, folding in soup.

    Sprinkle cheese on top. Bake at 350° for 30 minutes.
