Guacamole

5 ingredients
12 steps

Ingredients

  • 1 avocado
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 bell pepper (optional)

Directions

  1. 1
Make sure your avocados are ripe BEFORE you cut into them.
  2. 2
They should be dark green or black in color, and give a little bit, but not a lot, when you press your thumb on them.
  3. 3
If your avocado is not ripe (if it's ripe SKIP this step) you can wrap it in aluminum foil, and put it in the oven on low (around 250).
  4. 4
This may make your avocado kind stringy, but if this happens, add just a touch of mayonaise to make the guacamole creamier.
  5. 5
(you can add more honey and pepper to balance out the taste.
  6. 6
I would ONLY reccomend this if you really have to have guacamole now.
  7. 7
Otherwise, just put it in a brown paper bag and wait.
  8. 8
    It will taste better later.
  9. 9
Cut the avocado in half, take out the pit, and cut the flesh in a grid pattern.
  10. 10
Scoop the avocado into a bowl with a spoon.
  11. 11
Add salt pepper, and honey, and mix/mash with a fork.
  12. 12
Serve with chips or chopped up peppers (which makes this recipe paleo, gluten free, and super tasty).
