- 2 large ripe avocados, seeded, peeled and cut up
- 1/4 c. loosely packed fresh cilantro
- 2 Tbsp. finely chopped onion
- 1 or 2 jalapeno peppers, seeded
- 1 or 2 cloves garlic
- 2 Tbsp. lime juice
- 1/4 tsp. salt
Directions

1In a blender or food processor combine avocados, cilantro, onion, peppers, garlic, lime juice and salt.

2Cover and blend until nearly smooth, stopping and scraping as necessary.

3Transfer mixture to a bowl.

4Cover with plastic wrap directly touching the surface to prevent darkening.

5Chill for up to 24 hours if needed. Makes 1 3/4 cups.
