Ingredients

  • 2 (15 or 16 oz.) cans refried beans
  • 1 (4 oz.) can chopped green chilies
  • 1 (16 oz.) sour cream
  • 1 pkg. taco mix
  • 3 ripe, seeded and peeled avocados
  • 2 Tbsp. lemon juice
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/8 tsp. garlic
  • shredded cheese of your choice
  • chopped tomatoes
  • chopped green onions
  • chopped olives

Directions

    Combine beans and chilies; spread on a large plate.

    Combine sour cream and taco mix; spread over beans.

    Mash avocados, salt and lemon juice; spread over cream mixture.

    Cover and chill several hours.

    Just before serving, garnish with cheese, tomatoes, onions and olives.

    Serve with tortilla chips.
