  • 5 onions (medium size), finely chopped
  • 1/4 c. water
  • 3 qt. guava pulp
  • 2 large garlic cloves, finely chopped
  • 1 Tbsp. salt
  • 6 c. cane sugar
  • 5 small peppers, finely chopped
  • 1 1/2 to 2 c. vinegar
  • 4 tsp. allspice (ground)
  • 3 tsp. ground cinnamon
  • 2 tsp. ground cloves

Directions

    Cook the onions in the water until soft.

    Combine all the ingredients and cook for 30 to 40 minutes.

    Pour into hot, sterilized jars and seal immediately.
