  • 4 red peppers
  • 4 green peppers
  • 4 onions (big, Spanish)
  • 16 oz. can tomato sauce
  • oregano to taste
  • Italian spice to taste
  • garlic powder or salt to taste
  • 32 sweet or hot Italian sausages
  • sub rolls

Directions

    Slice peppers and onions, then saute them in a large skillet with a little oil.

    Transfer when tender to a large pot.

    Add one can of tomato sauce and the spices listed.

    Let simmer after mixing well.

    Cook the sausages and drain the fat.
