- 18 large gumdrops
- 2 1/4 c. light brown sugar
- 2 c. flour
- 4 large eggs, separated
- 1 c. chopped pecans
- 1/4 c. extra flour (for dredging)
- powdered sugar
Directions

1Cut gumdrops into 4 or 5 pieces each and dredge with nuts in the 1/4 cup extra flour.

2Cream egg yolks and sugar until fluffy. Stir in gumdrops, nuts and flour mixture.

3Use fingers; mixture will be very stiff and crumbly.

4Beat egg whites until stiff; fold in 1/4 at a time.

5Amazing, but you have a batter.
