  • 1 cup semolina
  • 1 cup whole wheat flour
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1 12 cups ghee, melted
  • 4 12 cups water
  • 5 -6 almonds, blanched

Directions

    Roast the semolina in ghee and keep aside.

    Roast the whole wheat flour in ghee and keep aside.

    In a pot, melt sugar in water until it has completely dissolved.

    Add the sugar-water mixture to the flour mixture and cook, stirring continuously, for a few minutes.

    Remove from heat.

    Garnish with blanched and sliced almonds.

    Serve hot.

    You may serve this with white bread slices or Indian flatbreads for a more wholesome meal.
