  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • 2 teaspoons dried oregano
  • 14 teaspoon salt
  • 14 teaspoon pepper
  • 2 lbs halibut steaks
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 4 teaspoons lemon juice

Directions

    On a plate, combine flour with oregano, salt and pepper.

    Coat halibut with seasoned flour and shake off excess.

    In a large skillet, heat oil.

    Add halibut and cook, turning, 3-5 minutes per side.

    Remove to a warm serving platter.

    Add butter to skillet, stir in garlic and cook 30 seconds.

    Add lemon juice and our butter over fish.

    Serve.
