  • 2 Cornish hens
  • 1 box chicken Rice-A-Roni
  • 2 c. water
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup

Directions

    Split hens down middle.

    Brown rice only 15 minutes in large Pyrex dish at 375°.

    In separate bowl, mix water, package of seasoning from Rice-A-Roni and chicken soup.

    After rice browns, lower oven to 350°; put hens over top of rice (will sizzle).

    Pour mixture over hens; cover and cook 1 hour.

    Uncover 30 minutes to brown.

    Excellent side dish with this:

    cut up fresh apples with poppy seed dressing.
