  • 1 c. chicken broth
  • 1 Tbsp. cornstarch
  • 3 Tbsp. ginger preserves
  • 1 Tbsp. soy sauce
  • 1 Tbsp. cider vinegar
  • 1/2 lb. cooked ham, cut in 1/2-inch cubes
  • 1/4 lb. mushrooms, thinly sliced
  • 1/4 large carrot, thinly sliced
  • 2 Tbsp. dark sesame oil
  • 6 large eggs
  • 1 (14 oz.) can bean sprouts, rinsed and drained
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. crushed red pepper
  • 1/4 c. sliced green onions

    In a 1-quart glass measure, mix chicken broth with cornstarch, preserves, soy sauce and vinegar.
