  • 2 c. cubed picnic ham
  • 1 1/2 qt. water
  • 1/2 c. margarine
  • salt to taste
  • 1/2 c. margarine
  • eggs

Directions

    Boil ham in water.

    Add 1/2 cup margarine.

    Salt to taste. While ham is cooking, make dumplings.

    Mix like making biscuits. Roll out real thin and cut in squares.

    Drop into boiling ham.

    Put in large baking dish and drop eggs around in this.

    Roll out top for crust and put on top.

    Place 1/2 cup margarine on top of crust. Bake in oven until brown at 450°.

    If too thick, add a little milk.
