- 1 med. head cabbage coarsely chopped (5 c.)
- 6 lg. carrots, 1 inch cuts
- 2 lg. potatoes, chopped
- 2 c. (10 oz.) diced cooked ham
- 1 med. onion, chopped
- 3 c. water
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. seasoning salt
- 1/8 tsp. pepper
- 1 (16 oz.) can garbanzo beans
Directions

1In large sauce pan or dutch oven, combine cabbage, carrots, potatoes, ham, onion, water and seasonings.

2Cover and simmer about 1 hour or until vegetables are done.

3Add undrained beans and cook covered 10 to 15 minutes longer.

4Add more water if necessary.
