  • 4 large potatoes (or more)
  • 2 Tbsp. butter
  • 1/4 c. sliced green onions
  • 1/2 c. chopped green pepper
  • 2 c. water
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/8 tsp. pepper
  • 1/4 tsp. paprika
  • 3 Tbsp. flour
  • 2 c. milk
  • diced ham or 1/2 whole can clams

    Peel and dice potatoes.

    In large saucepan, melt butter.

    Add onions and pepper and cook until tender.

    Add potatoes, water and seasonings.

    Cover and cook until tender.

    Make paste of flour and milk.

    Add to potato mixture.

    Add rest of milk and cook until thickened; stir in corn and ham.
