  • 1 1/4 c. flour
  • Healthy pinch of salt
  • 3 tbsp. butter/butter
  • 3 tbsp. shortening
  • 3-4 tbsp. water

Directions

    Crust: Sift flour and salt together.

    Cut butter and shortening into the flour.

    Add in water and mix with a fork and then with your fingers till the dough can be gathered into a ball.

    Wrap the dough in wax paper and refrigeratein the refrigerator for 1 hour.

    Roll out into quiche dish or possibly 9 inch pie plate.

    Bake 7 min.

    Prick crust and bake 5 more min.

    Fill.

    Scatter the ham and cheese over the bottom of the pastry shell.

    Beat rest of ingredients together with a wire whisk till blended.

    Pour over ham and cheese.

    Bake at 375 degrees for 45 min or possibly till a knife inserted comes out clean.
