Ham Vegetable Chowder

- 1 qt. water
- 1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen chopped broccoli
- 2 c. cut up, fully cooked ham
- 2 c. sliced carrots
- 2 c. thinly sliced celery
- 1/2 c. chopped onion
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 2 c. milk
- 1/2 c. Bisquick
- 8 oz. Swiss cheese, cut into cubes (2 c.)
Directions

1Heat water, broccoli, ham, carrots, celery, onion and salt to boiling in 4-quart Dutch oven.

2Reduce heat.

3Cover and simmer 10 minutes.

4Gradually stir milk into baking mix in small bowl (mixture will be lumpy).

5Stir into ham mixture.

6Heat to boiling, stirring constantly.

7Boil and stir 1 minute.

8Remove from heat; stir in cheese.

9Cover and let stand until cheese is partially melted (5 minutes).

10Stir before serving.
