  • 1 cup Uncooked Rice, Prepared According To Package Directions
  • 1 pound Ground Beef, I Use Ground Round
  • 1 cup Diced Onion
  • 1 cup Diced Celery
  • 1 can Cream Of Chicken Soup
  • 1 can Cream Of Mushroom Soup
  • 2 teaspoons Soy Sauce
  • 3/4 cups Slivered Almonds
  • 1 can Chow Mein Noodles, Plus More For Serving

Directions

    Prepare rice according to package directions.

    In a separate pot, brown ground beef.

    Add onion and celery.

    Cook until onion is transparent, but celery is still a bit crunchy.

    Mix in soups and soy sauce.

    Toss in almonds and 1 cup of chow mein noodles.

    Fold in cooked rice.

    Turn out into a greased 2-quart casserole dish.
