- 1 cup Uncooked Rice, Prepared According To Package Directions
- 1 pound Ground Beef, I Use Ground Round
- 1 cup Diced Onion
- 1 cup Diced Celery
- 1 can Cream Of Chicken Soup
- 1 can Cream Of Mushroom Soup
- 2 teaspoons Soy Sauce
- 3/4 cups Slivered Almonds
- 1 can Chow Mein Noodles, Plus More For Serving
Directions

1Prepare rice according to package directions.

2In a separate pot, brown ground beef.

3Add onion and celery.

4Cook until onion is transparent, but celery is still a bit crunchy.

5Mix in soups and soy sauce.

6Toss in almonds and 1 cup of chow mein noodles.

7Fold in cooked rice.

8Turn out into a greased 2-quart casserole dish.

9Bake in a 350 degree oven for 30 minutes.

10More chow mein noodles may be added at the table.
