Hamburger-Cornbread Casserole

  • 1 lb. hamburger
  • 1 medium onion
  • 2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tsp. chili powder
  • 3/4 tsp. salt
  • 1 1/2 c. tomato juice
  • 1 can drained kidney beans
  • 1 1/2 c. cornbread mixture

Directions

    Brown hamburger and onion.

    Add Worcestershire sauce, chili powder, salt and tomato juice; cook for 15 minutes, then add kidney beans.

    Pour into greased casserole dish and top with cornbread mixture.

    Bake at 425° for about 20 to 25 minutes.
