- 2 c. chopped onion
- 2 c. chopped celery
- 1 c. pearl barley
- 1/2 c. catsup
- 2 beef bouillon cubes
- 4 tsp. season salt (Lawry's)
- 2 tsp. basil
- 2 bay leaves
- 1 tsp. pepper
- 5 to 6 c. water
Directions

1Brown burger; drain.

2In a large pot or crock-pot, put burger and remaining ingredients.

3Simmer 1 hour.

4Remove bay leaves before serving.
