- 4 oz. noodles
- 3/4 c. sliced onions
- 1/4 c. flour
- 2 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 1/4 c. (2 oz. can) mushroom bits and pieces with liquor
- 1/4 c. catsup
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1 1/3 c. buttermilk
- dash of pepper
- 3/4 tsp. salt
Directions

1Cook noodles according to package directions; drain. Meanwhile in saucepan, combine onions and ground beef.

2Heat, stirring constantly, until onions are tender and meat browned. Remove from heat; blend in flour, pepper and salt.

3Add catsup, Worcestershire sauce, mushrooms and buttermilk; mix well.

4Stir noodles into beef mixture.

5Turn into 1 1/2-quart casserole dish and bake at 350° for 25 to 30 minutes.

6Garnish with onion rings, if desired.
