- 1 lb. hamburger
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1/4 c. butter
- 2 Tbsp. flour
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. garlic salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 1 (4 oz.) can mushrooms
- 1 can cream of chicken soup
- 1 c. sour cream
- 2 or 3 c. hot cooked wide egg noodles or rice
Directions

1Cook and stir hamburger and onion in margarine in a 10-inch skillet until hamburger is light brown.

2Add flour, salt, garlic, pepper and mushrooms.

3Cook, stirring constantly, for 5 minutes. Stir in soup.

4Heat to boiling, stirring constantly.

5Reduce heat. Simmer, uncovered, 10 minutes.

6Stir in sour cream; heat through. Serve over hot noodles or rice.
