  • 1 lb. hot sausage
  • 1/2 lb. ground beef
  • 1/2 to 3/4 lb. Mexican Velveeta cheese
  • 1/2 tsp. basil
  • 1/2 tsp. oregano
  • 1 pkg. cocktail size rye bread

    Brown meat and drain.

    Mix in cheese and spices until cheese is melted.

    Spoon meat mixture on bread and broil just until meat browns.
