Ingredients
- 2 c. sugar
- 1 c. light corn syrup
- 1/2 c. water
- 1/2 tsp. food coloring
- 1 1/2 tsp. oil flavoring
Directions

1Combine sugar, syrup and water in saucepan.

2Cook over medium heat, without stirring, to 300° (hard crack stage).

3Cool slightly.

4Blend in coloring and flavoring.

5Pour into greased pan.

6While candy is still hot, crease with knife.

7Repeat creasing after candy has been allowed to cool a few minutes to a half hour.

8Turn pan upside down over board and tap slightly. Break candy carefully along creases.

9Yields 1 1/4 pounds.
