- 1 1/4 c. light Karo syrup
- 1 c. water
- food coloring
- food flavoring or your choice
- powdered sugar
Directions

1Mix the first 3 ingredients together in a pan.

2Cook rapidly until the temperature reaches 300°.

3Add food coloring and flavoring.

4Pour onto cookie sheet; let it set to harden.

5Cover with powdered sugar.

6To crack candy, use butter knife handle.
