- 3 3/4 c. sugar
- 1 1/2 c. light corn syrup
- 1 c. water
- 1 tsp. Lorann flavoring
- powdered sugar
Directions

1Mix the first 3 ingredients in a large, heavy saucepan.

2Stir over high heat until sugar dissolves.

3Boil, without stirring, until temperature reaches 310° or until drops of syrup form hard brittle threads in cold water.

4Remove from heat.

5After boiling has ceased, stir in flavoring and coloring.

6Pour onto 30 inches of heavy-duty foil covered with powdered sugar.

7Cool.
-
8Break into pieces.

9Store in airtight containers.

10Makes in excess of 2 pounds.
