- 1 1/4 c. white syrup
- 1 c. hot water
Directions

1Bring to boil, stirring constantly.

2When candy thermometer reaches 300° take off stove.

3Stir in flavoring and then coloring. Pour in thin strips over powdered sugar which is spread over a formica top.

4Use enough powdered sugar so it won't stick to the table top.

5Let cool a little, then start to break in small pieces.
