  • 1 3/4 c. sugar
  • 1/2 c. light corn syrup
  • 1/2 c. water
  • 1 tsp. flavoring
  • food coloring

Directions

    Combine sugar, corn syrup and water in a saucepan.

    Bring to boil over medium heat until mixture reaches 300° on a candy thermometer.

    Remove from heat and add flavoring and a few drops of food coloring.
