- 2 c. sugar
- 2/3 c. white corn syrup
- 3/4 c. water
- 1 tsp. flavoring
- 1 tsp. food coloring
Directions

1Mix the sugar, corn syrup and water in medium saucepan. Insert candy thermometer. Bring to 300° or hard crack stage. Remove pan from heat. Quickly add the flavoring and food coloring; mix.

2Pour onto well-greased cookie sheet.

3Allow to cool and crack into bite size pieces.

4If desired, you can sprinkle with confectioners sugar.
