  • 1/2 c. water
  • 3/4 c. light Karo
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. flavoring
  • food coloring

Directions

    Boil the first 3 ingredients until hard boil without stirring, until hard crack stage (310°).

    Remove from heat.

    Add flavoring and food color; pour onto buttered cookie sheet.

    Cool.

    Butter hands and scissors; cut to desired sizes.
